As an authorized Lindal Cedar Homes dealer, we guide you through every step - from selecting the perfect plan to handing you the keys to your finished home.
DISCOVERY CALL
It starts with an email or phone call. From there, we schedule a Discovery Call — by phone, in person, or on Zoom — to learn about your vision, your lot, your timeline, and your budget.
PRELIMINARY BUILDING AGREEMENT
Once we've aligned on your goals, we execute a Preliminary Building Agreement. This kicks off the detailed planning phase — site visit and evaluation, custom design development, and working with our selections coordinator to choose every material and finish.
FINAL BUILDING AGREEMENT & CONSTRUCTION
With your design finalized and every cost documented, we present everything in a visually rich slideshow — your complete project at a glance. Once you sign the Final Building Agreement, construction begins.
FINISH-OUT & MOVE-IN
Our team completes all systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) and every interior finish detail. You'll have access to our online client portal to track progress and request revisions throughout. After final inspections and a comprehensive walkthrough, you get the keys.

We take time to understand how you live — your daily routines, entertaining habits, family needs, and future plans. This deep understanding ensures the Lindal plan we select and customize truly fits your life, not just your lot.
Lindal Plan Library Review
Together we browse Lindal's extensive library of home plans across all collections — Modern Homes, Frank Lloyd Wright Inspired, Originals, Small Homes, OM Studio, Custom, Evolve, and Architectural Designs. We help you find the ideal plan as a starting point for your custom home.
Preliminary Budget Discussion
Based on your selected plan, site conditions, and desired level of finish, we develop an initial cost framework covering the Lindal materials package, site preparation, installation, and complete finish-out. This preliminary budget guides the next phase and ensures alignment with your financial goals.
Step 2: Preliminary Building Agreement
Site Visit & Evaluation
We visit your property to assess topography, orientation, views, soil conditions, and utility access. This evaluation ensures the Lindal plan you've selected is perfectly suited to your lot and takes full advantage of its unique characteristics.
Custom Design Development
Working with our design team, we customize your chosen Lindal plan to perfectly match your needs. Whether it's expanding a great room, adding a home office, reconfiguring bedrooms, or adjusting the footprint for your lot, Lindal's flexible post-and-beam system makes modifications straightforward.
Selections Coordinator
Our dedicated selections coordinator guides you through every material and finish choice — from flooring and cabinetry to countertops, fixtures, lighting, and paint colors. We coordinate with you to choose the finishes that make your Lindal home uniquely yours, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
Line-by-Line Cost Breakdown
With all design and selection decisions made, we prepare a comprehensive, line-by-line cost breakdown covering every aspect of your project — the Lindal materials package, foundation, installation, all building systems, and complete interior finish-out. Every cost is transparent and documented.
Step 3: Final Building Agreement & Construction
Visual Project Presentation
We present your complete project in a visually rich slideshow — your custom design, every selection, and the full cost breakdown in one comprehensive presentation. This is your opportunity to see the entire project at a glance before signing the Final Building Agreement and beginning construction.
Lindal Package Manufacturing
Your customized Lindal materials package is precision-cut at the factory to your exact specifications. Every beam, post, and panel is crafted from premium Western Red Cedar and Douglas Fir, labeled, and prepared for efficient on-site assembly. Lindal has perfected this process over 50,000+ homes built worldwide since 1945.
Foundation & Site Preparation
While your Lindal package is being manufactured, our team begins on-site work. We handle excavation, grading, and foundation construction tailored to your lot's conditions and your home's design — whether that's a slab, crawl space, or full basement foundation.
Package Delivery & Installation
Your Lindal materials package is shipped directly to your building site. Our experienced crew erects the post-and-beam frame, installing the structural posts, beams, roof system, walls of glass, and exterior envelope. The precision-cut components fit together efficiently, and you'll see your home take shape quickly.
Step 4: Finish-Out & Move-In
Electrical, Plumbing & HVAC
With the structure enclosed, we install all building systems — electrical wiring and panels, plumbing supply and drainage, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. Every system is installed to code and inspected at each stage, ensuring reliable performance for years to come.
Interior Finish-Out
This is where your Lindal home truly becomes yours. We install cabinetry, countertops, flooring, fixtures, hardware, and paint throughout. Every finish you selected with our selections coordinator is expertly installed, complementing the natural beauty of the exposed cedar and Douglas Fir structural elements.
Online Client Portal
Throughout construction, you have access to our online client portal where you can track progress, view photos, review documents, and request revisions in real time. Our white-glove approach keeps you informed and involved without the stress of managing the details yourself.
Final Inspections & Move-In
We coordinate all final building inspections and conduct a comprehensive walkthrough with you to review every detail. Any items noted are addressed promptly. Once you're completely satisfied, we hand over your warranty documentation, homeowner manuals, and the keys to your new Lindal Cedar Home.
